The Quinny Yezz has arrived!!

The Quinny Yezz was delivered a few days before Christmas...I have been so busy so I've only just got round to updating my Blog but here goes...

I have been so excited and have waited so long for this day to come and  I was defiantly not disappointed.

As soon as i opened the box a lovely bright pink seat and Matt black frame was staring me in the face, Christmas had come early :D

The colours are amazing, so  vibrant. The Pink Hybrid goes well with the black frame.

I set the Yezz up using the instructions ( I never usually read the instructions to anything) to be honest i could have set it up with out using them. It was a good job I read them because there is one key point to setting the Yezz up and that is when you put the seat cover on you need to leave the frame partially unfolded so the clips reach.

I took me minutes to set up, it was so easy. I practised folding and unfolding it a few times just to get the hang of it. The great thing about Quinny Yezz is you can fold/unfold it with one hand, which makes it very unique and practical. This is going to be very handy for me when i need to take public transport and is going to be a great selling point!

The Yezz was on display in my house over Christmas, everyone who came over tried it out and couldn't believe how light weight and easy it was to push. My younger brothers especially liked the skating wheels and even asked if they could borrow them Lol

Gracie loved getting in and trying it out for the first time, she was kicking about and looking really chuffed with herself. I was worried that the harness was going to be too big her ( she's a little dot, as everyone says)  but after a bit of adjusting they fitted her fine.

I have made a video, to show how to set up the Yezz but please bare with me as this was the first video i have made :)

We have took it out for a test drive and I've got to say it's by far the easy stroller to push. My son like to hold my hand so now I don't have to struggle to push my pram and hold his hand.

Me, Gracie and Love the Yezz!!

Dick Whittington's Farm Park (family day trip)

Dick Whittingtons is a farm park situated in Longhope, Gloucestershire. It's pack full of fun things to do, including a huge soft play area, a wide range of farm animals, go-Carting, Tractor rides and much more.

We decided to take the kidds to the farm park today, as it's bank holiday Monday and nearly time to go back to school. We wanted a fun day out for all the family, including Baby Gracie-Mai (who by the way, loved it just as much as the Boys).

The Story of Dick Whittington

We Started our afternoon of by visiting all the farm animals. There was plenty of lovely animals to see. We all found them all very interested and loved learning about their environment.

Heres a list of farm animals we met today...
 A very lovely peacock
 Two beautiful Shetland ponies.
  Excited wallabies.
Fluffy owls.
Lot's and Lot's of Greedy goats.
Cute micro pigs and piglets.
A massive rare yellow rabbit ( biggest we have seen)
Funny Chickens.
Fast ferrets.
    Deers.
Curious Cows.
&
 A Lazy Donkey.

Next we all (including me) had ago on the Go-Karts. It was very fun and exciting, whizzing around the track.

Dick Whittingtons has a amazing soft plat area, with lots of things to do. The kids spent a lot of time, running, bouncing and whizzing down the slides.

We Then went on a really cool tractor ride. It took us down by a big lake, where the farmer/driver fed the ducks and we even saw coi carp.

Our next adventure was the reptile room, where we met lot's of cool and wonderful reptiles.

We had a brilliant day and love every minute of it. All of the staff are really friendly. Its a pleasure to have such a great place right on our door steps ( 10 miles away)

We will be visiting again very soon!!

If your every in Gloucestershire, this is definitely a place to take the kids.

I'm a comper, are you?

I love to enter competitions!!

Over the years I have won a fair bit, mainly baby things as i like to win stuff for my children.

Over the last few months I have had some pretty good wins, including a Cosatto highchair with pushchair trader, a Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit with Quinny UK, three training cups with Baby Born Free UK, a Plum baby hamper for filling out a food diary for my little Princess.

I have now won by biggest prize ever! A Ipad 2 *Woohoo*

I joined up to a facebook page called "Competition Club". Everyday the page owner and other people post new competitions. This particular competition was to like a fan page called Prezzo (they are a restaurant based all over the UK) They chose eight people out of 112, 865 Fans to win a Ipad 2,  I was one of the lucky winners. I had a email saying I had won it, but checked their fan page to make sure. To my surprise there was my name, in the winners list.

I am now waiting for my prize to arrive in the post. I feel very lucky and I'm very excited to be a proud owner of a stunning Ipad2.

I would like to thank "Competition Club" for leading me to the competition and obviously Prezzo for picking me out of thousands of fans.

YOU GOTTA BE IN IT TO WIN IT!

My Nephew Jayden-Lee

My younger sister has not long had her baby boy Jayden-Lee. He was born on Friday the 13th, he's now 8 weeks old.

I was my sisters birth partner and it was an amazing experience, although i have been there when my older sister give birth to her first daughter and my mum given birth to my younger brother.

I couldn't believe how well my sister coped with the labour she had no real pain relief, just gas and air now and again. She coped with most of the labour at home and when got to the hospital around 10.30 and she was around 7cm when they examined her. It then took her till 4.23 to have him. She had a bit of trouble pushing him out so she had some help with that, they attached u suction cap to Jaydens head and as she pushed they pulled (Looked really painful). She asked me to take pictures of EVERYTHING, so i did! Lol

This boy can eat! I looked after him for a few hours one night when he was 5 weeks old, he ate 6oz of expressed breast milk in one go...he would of ate more but the bottle was empty Lol

He's got stunning little features and looks alot like his Daddy, but now is starting to look a lot like my sister. He pulls the funniest of faces, his lips makes a O shape and his eyes go really wide (he has the biggest eyes) it's so funny.

I've said from the start he's going to be a footballer from his legs as they are long and skinny (all the girls and lot's of cash) Lol.

This Jayden and my sister, may i add she went back to a size 6-8 with in weeks, so unfair, aye?

Gracie has started to crawl.

Gracie is just coming up to 7 1/2 months and for the last 3-4 weeks she has been desperately trying to crawl.

She started off by just getting up on her hands and knees, then she was rocking back and forth. She then started to put her legs straight, but she kind of guessed this wasn't how to do it.

She spent lot's of her time on the living room floor trying to go after her brothers toys.

Yesterday she finally took her first steps and started crawling, even though i knew it wouldn't have been long i was still shocked and as happy as can be.

I'm one proud Mummy as Gracie has reached her first major milestone and a very good age.

(She Grabbed my mug at the end Lol)
This was taken last week when she was trying so hard. I will update with a video of her crawling a bit later on.
